Great planer, great price (refurb)

I am a DIYer. I used this to plane the tops of joists for a deck ramp that I was building because my joists were slightly out of level with respect to each other (sometimes dimensional lumber widths vary from board to board). It made very quick work out of a job that otherwise would have taken me probably an hour or more by hand. The surface left by the blades is smooth as glass. Very impressive. I also bought this as a refurb, which was a particularly good value.
